What is Brita Climate Ride?
Brita Climate Ride 2008 is the first multi-day bicycle ride where your pedal strokes help raise funds and awareness for meaningful climate change and renewable energy legislation! This transformative event is ideal for anyone who believes that change is possible and that America can take the lead in a green economy. It's a fundraiser, awareness-raiser and climate conference on wheels, all benefiting Clean Air–Cool Planet and Focus the Nation.

Where and When is Brita Climate Ride?
Beginning on September 20, 120 Climate Riders will pedal 320 miles from New York to the nation's Capitol in Washington, D.C., in five days. Departing from the heart of Manhattan, then following country roads and rail-trails through New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland, the ride will nightly feature expert speakers on the science, policies and solutions to the climate crisis. On the fifth day, riders will cycle into Washington to celebrate Climate Ride's valuable contribution to the advancement of climate change education and renewable energy policies.
